Candidate Development Scheme Launches

For those who are part of our candidate development scheme for the 2021 elections - the first event in 2020 (postponed because of the election) will take place at the beginning of February in Norwich.

Full details will be emailed to you in the next few days but put it in your diary. The main topic we'll be working on with Labour councillors and some other activists is climate change policy and strategy.

If you are not part of the scheme and are interested in becoming a Labour candidate for the 2021 county council elections email NorfolkLabour@gmail.com for more information.

The scheme is intended to give an introduction and help build the skills of those Labour Party members who are not sure where to start or if standing for election is for them. It will help get you involved at the level that suits you with no commitment until you are ready.

We can't guarantee you'll be selected as a candidate or elected as a councillor - but we can improve you chances and make sure you know what you are letting yourself in for.

Along the way you'll get to meet and work with experienced councillors keen to help, share and work with you on campaigns for your local community. Email NorfolkLabour@gmail.com and we can tell you more or arrange to talk to you.
